After careful evaluation of the whole plant and several discussions with the Maintenance Manager, Vasu Govendor, BBJ Materials Handling offered the best solutions.
BBJ Materials Handling was able to offer ZIP Water solutions that included PALOMAT Pallet Dispensers, AL-LIFT Vacuum Heads, custom-made Die Lifters, MAVERICK Reel Lifters, and Storage units.
Due to old age and electrical issues, ZIP Water’s original pallet dispensers were in need of replacement as their grippers were not performing. Since their replacement with PALOMAT Pallet Dispensers, the grippers have been no issue to date and are in fact performing at peak standards. The machines are used everyday for 15 hours a day and have proven to be reliable. The PALOMAT Pallet Dispensers have been ideal offering no downtime and no more manual handling.
AL-LIFT Compressor Lifters with vacuum heads were also custom made and installed at ZIP Water. The AL-LIFT Compressor Lifters proved ideal for load picking workflow. They offer a safe, cost-effective way to take the strain off manual handling. Perfect in tight spaces, they are a great addition offering automation in the unloading of containers and for sorting large and awkward shaped boxes. The AL-LIFT Compressor Lifters have offered a better workflow to ZIP Water.
