Premier Pallet Inverters host a myriad of safety features with outstanding results

BBJ Materials Handling proudly supplies Premier Pallet Inverters throughout Australia and New Zealand. Formed in 1993, Premier has over 45 years experience in Pallet Inverter manufacturing. The original machines were designed and built at Gressenhall in 1976. They are sold in more than 68 countries with BBJ Materials Handling leading the Australian and New Zealand markets.

The Pallet Inverter was invented by engineers to allow broken bags and pallets to be securely rotated and then retrieved. This also allowed more expensive pallets to be retained onsite. Reducing the labour required, and increasing handling safety, means that Pallet Inverters are perfect for pallet handling.

All Premier Pallet Inverters comply with essential health and safety requirements, and are designed and manufactured in accordance with the current European standards and are therefore fully C E compliant. Health and Safety policies can vary between companies and there may be a need for extra safety options to be included. BBJ Materials Handling offers numerous additional extras to the Premier Pallet Inverters such as warning lights, audible bleepers, safety gates, key switches etc.

All Premier Pallet Inverters are fitted with basic steel mesh safety guarding, with the FS featuring guards that are perfectly attached to the machine. The operator should have a clear view of the action but be safely protected from the movement of the inverter.

These attached guards can also be fitted to the FS DC, and DD 1.25 though in many cases customers prefer to give these inverters a permanent home where they are surrounded by floor-fixed guarding. The entrance to the enclosure can be protected by multi-beam photo-electric guards linked to the machines’ controls. If they are breached, the machine stops instantly.

Most inverters are sold with some form of hands-on control. Provided the operator is in permanent attendance at the machine, the guarding requirements are not over-stringent. However, when the controls are automatic, it is essential the machine is sited in a securely guarded area. Premier Pallet Inverters have an unblemished safety record, which Premier works tirelessly to maintain.

BBJ Materials Handling is the leader in supplying Premier Pallet Inverters in Australia and New Zealand.
